This photo shows the official opening of the new CT scanner, in June 2009, funded mainly by the HESCA appeal. The scanner can perform specialist cardiac scans and £60,000 was given towards the purchase from the PHLF funds. The opening event was attended by the local MP Mark Simmonds. In the picture with him are are Terri Green (Pilgrim Hospital General Manager), Dr Nyman (President of the PHLF and Chairman of the HESCA Appeal) and Senior X-ray department staff.
